About the Associate, Retention Marketing position

We are looking for an excellent retention marketer to help us manage & execute email, SMS, loyalty, and referral campaigns against our growing customer base (over 1M customers). This position reports directly to our Retention Manager.


  • Executing Email & SMS marketing strategies
    • Building & sending campaigns
    • Creating & optimizing flows
    • Segmenting audiences
    • Ideating & executing Email & SMS A/B tests
  • Coordinating cross-functionally
    • Aligning with copywriters, graphic designers, and brand marketers on deliverables & timelines
    • Supporting promotions, product launches, and marketing campaign needs across the organization
  • Refining Loyalty & Referral program
    • Integrating points & referrals systems into the customer journey
    • Identifying opportunities to improve the programs and running A/B tests
    • Owning new rollouts and campaigns
  • Penetrating new retention channels
    • FB Messenger
    • Paid social & search
    • Direct mail
    • Website / app optimization
    • Etc.
  • Generating actionable consumer insights
    • Creating & implementing surveys to better understand True Classic's customer base using Typeform
    • Analyzing cohorts and identifying trends
    • Evaluating the consumer path to purchase and finding opportunities to improve the Customer Lifetime Value
  • Monitoring & optimizing retention KPIs
    • Deliverability, list health, open rate, CTR, CVR, revenue per email/SMS, etc.


  • 2+ years of experience in retention marketing in a similar role
  • Klaviyo experience
  • Yotpo experience is a plus
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills
  • Great leadership & communication skills
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or another quantitative discipline
