About the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence (BI) position

We are looking for a phenomenal BI leader to help us centralize, visualize, and analyze our business data cross-functionally. You will be responsible for developing our BI infrastructure from the ground up & extracting actionable insights to inform key business decisions. This position reports directly to our Chief Business Officer (CBO).

Responsibilities

  • BI Infrastructure
    • Set up & maintain data integrations into data warehouse / ETL (e.g., Shopify, NetSuite, Facebook, Google, Klaviyo, etc.)
    • Ensure data pipelines are set up correctly and data is accurate in all reports
  • Data Visualization
    • Develop story-driven dashboards w/ clean visualizations
  • KPI Monitoring
    • Identify and monitor business KPIs
    • Report on trends and call out actionable insights to drive business action
  • Cross-functional support
    • Work w/ product, ops, finance, marketing, CX, and other departments to identify reporting needs/gaps and provide reporting solutions
  • Predictive Analytics (e.g., revenue & KPI forecasting)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant BI experience
  • Experience with Glew.io and Looker
  • Strong statistical, mathematical, scientific, or financial background
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Great leadership & communication skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer eCommerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Team player who can establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams
  • Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (e.g., SQL )
